reach for the summit

Benefit from the powerful, shared experience of climbing the Southern Alps from the comfort of your remote office. In this interactive, video-based mountain climb, teams progress by setting guiding principles, managing a budget, making decisions under a limited time frame, and ensuring the personal success and safety of all members. 

As teams advance through the different stages of their climb, they’ll face daunting challenges, navigate high-risk scenarios, and attempt to balance their team goals with the resilience of each individual team member. Reach for the Summit is comprised of 3 phases; Set-Up, Base Camp, and Summit that can be delivered in a single session or over multiple sessions.

Ideal for teams of any size

  • Teams are introduced to the activity and guided through a process to define their Guiding Principles, Decision-Making Process, Goal, and Definition of Success.

  • Climbing teams begin in Mt. Cook Village and must choose how they will make it from the Village to Base Camp.

  • Climb teams begin at Base Camp and will make decisions in pursuit of reaching the highest peak possible.

Delivered in partnership with Peak Teams Global, Virtual Learning Adventures (VLA) provide powerful shared experiences, 
improve learning outcomes and deliver accelerated results.

 Audiences are highly engaged as they watch authentic stories come to life 
on video. The visual nature of the learning experience engages peoples 
emotion. This allows participants to relate to the characters in the story, 
the challenges they face, and potential solutions.



Common ground and genuine psychological safety are created by using
 real life VLA's. It’s impossible to have any subject
 matter experts in the audience, regardless of role type, length of time 
in the business or seniority.

 The end result is an entire audience that feels like they’re in a safe 
place, are motivated to learn and are willing to work together to 
achieve their goals.

In this outrageous virtual adventure, your group will be challenged to walk the line between competition and collaboration, utilizing technology and ingenuity.

Virtual teams will choose between challenges that draw on the strengths of their individual members. Participants will stay connected remotely throughout this mobile app-based adventure that allows groups to forge their own paths toward a common goal in a fun and sometimes outrageous way.

Mission Outrageous is particularly useful for goal-setting, exercising strategy and communication, and is perfect for larger groups.

The Virtual Circuit will take your team through modular rounds of activities that are designed to engage participants, build connection, and provide a fun framework to get to know one another better. Your group will be divided into small teams and placed into virtual breakout rooms for each activity round. Participants will be randomized into new groups for each new activity round to maximize interaction.

Each round will consist of different learning themes and challenge types, each designed to indulge a variety of thinking and leadership styles. Additionally, participants will be encouraged to stretch outside of their comfort zone to build trust. Your team will gain familiarity with problem-solving in a virtual space while having fun and strengthening your network of peers.

Immerse your team in a race against time as they work together to solve a series of puzzles and decipher the clues to reveal the secret code-name of an agent practicing industrial espionage. Rapid identification of key data as well as an open flow of communication across team members will be critical to successfully identifying the rogue agent.

Your team will engage together in an interactive virtual platform; cracking clues, unraveling the mystery, and maintaining composure under the pressure. Our facilitators will help draw connections back to your real-world experiences. Stretch your team’s communication muscles and build connection in a fun and engaging way, despite working remotely.
