challenge ropes course
The Ropes Course creates a remarkable natural metaphor for flexibility and growth. Under the redwoods, you’ll work together to think strategically, set goals, and execute under pressure.
The course consists of both low and high elements, and our staff will work with you to modulate the event based on your team objectives and comfort with heights.
This experience is located at the beautiful Chaminade Resort and Spa in Santa Cruz, California.

The Giant’s Ladder is designed for groups to have an opportunity to practice planning, goal setting, and implementation. It is not about physical abilities of individuals, but the capabilities of teams to assess resources, create a strategy, and execute to that strategy.

The Balancing Act is a high ropes course element with multiple options for how far participants can go. The objective is for climbers to explore and decide the appropriate level of challenge for themselves and set a goal accordingly.

geoteaming adventure
The worldwide sport of geocaching with a team building twist! In Geoteaming, your group will use GPS receivers, 2–way radios, and aerial maps to locate hidden containers worth valuable “revenue” for your expedition. You'll also need to decipher visual and written clues to chart the path ahead and keep moving your team forward. Teams will build their strategy muscles, form connections, and practice cross-team collaboration as they forge their path toward success.
Collaborative and competitive designs are available to target your objectives.

Teams can choose to complete challenges that will draw upon their physical, intellectual and creative strengths. This mobile app-based adventure allows groups to forge their individual paths toward a common goal in a fun and oftentimes outrageous way. Mission Outrageous is particularly useful for goal-setting and building connection.

The Circuit is your choice when looking for a short, dynamic, energetic outdoor team building program to actively bring your group together. Participants challenge themselves and their teams to complete a series of trials. No boring, company-picnic activities here! Each challenge utilizes different skills and requires teams to evaluate their resources and coordinate a plan.
Depending on your objectives, we mix and match activity options that echo your group’s challenges and reinforce desired learning outcomes. We design a blend of physical and mental challenges to accommodate all capabilities and learning styles inclusively. Options feature energizing and fun activities with a range of difficulty.

action steps
Action Steps incorporates a variety of learning modules to form a learning journey. Each program is custom designed to meet the goals and objectives of your team. The purpose of Action Steps is for participants to experience the difficulties of solving complex problems in a team situation while also having fun and building connection. Our facilitators guide development of “action steps” for applying the key takeaways in the work environment.
The program allows participants an opportunity to practice skill building through a series of creative and engaging problem solving activities. Each program ends with a group discussion on key insights and an action planning session that helps to ensure that they are applied.

the quest
You’re on an island with a backpack, GPS, limited food supplies — and your team. You will need to complete challenges, collect calories, and avoid setbacks in order to escape the island in time. The Quest uses GPS technology to create an adventure for teams to breakout from their normal routine while engaging with team dynamics that they experience every day.
Based on the sport of Geocaching, teams are challenged to locate hidden containers that will yield valuable calories to sustain the team and clues to help get them off the island. Teams use aerial maps and must decipher visual and written clues to chart their course . . . then it’s up to them to design and execute a strategy to make it off the island safely!
Ideal for teams of up to 25
